Local posting before I list these on eBay, since they're too heavy to
ship anyway...
For Sale: 2000 Honda Odyssey EX 5-spoke aluminum wheels and Michelin X-
One tires. Set of four in truly excellent condition.
Wheels are mechanically perfect, and cosmetically excellent - only a few
small rim dings that I can see. Some thorough cleaning of the nooks and
crannies before mounting and you'll never know they aren't new.
Tires are 225/60-16 Michelin X-Ones, one of their premium all-season
tires. These are a step up from the OEM 215/65-16 Symmetrys. They have
the same rolling diameter and fit perfectly, just have a beefier section
and contact patch. They are also better rated in wet traction and
noticeably quieter than the OEM tires. They have about 10 miles on them,
but it barely shows: I would estimate they have better than 80% of their
tread. X-Ones are rated at about 75k miles, if I recall correctly, and in
any case these have tens of thousands of miles on them.
One tire has a minor sidewall blemish; it's up to you and your tire guy
to decide whether it's a problem. I've been driving with it for a couple
of thousand miles with no evident problems. Except for that, this is a
near-mint set to replace your ugly steel LX wheels or replace a worn set
of EX rollers.
$250, offers, and interesting trades considered. (I'm looking for a
quality, compact, digital 2-channel amp in the 100WRMS/channel range; has
to be no more than about 10x8x2 and cool running for the available
mounting location. Also any interesting Odyssey, '68 Mustang, B5 or
whatcha-got items...)
For pickup in Citrus Heights; delivery within the Sacramento area also an
option. I will be listing these on eBay if there are no takers by Friday
(the 23rd) morning.
Email (sorry for the spam trap!) n i t r o p r e s s (no spaces) at the
spelling-corrected domain above, and include the keyword "nospam" in the
subject line. Thanks!
